BEYOND THE BEACH IN KABUL

Following the deadly attack on Kabul on May 31st, the Beyond the Beach team arrived in Kabul to interview members of the Emergency team working on the front line at their Surgical Centre for War Victims, where they provide free, high-quality healthcare to the victims of the conflict that continues to affect the country and capital city.

Our crew managed to speak to a collection of healthcare professionals that have moved their lives to help in Kabul. Many had only planned to spend a short amount of time in Afghanistan, however having seen the scale of violence and the number of civilian casualties, had decided to stay to do whatever they can to improve the lives of the innocent.

The danger surrounding mass casualties can be felt throughout the city. After just a few days on the ground, we decided to remove our team from the city. The Emergency team stayed to help those in need.
